.Synopsis...
A cutoff low approaches the central California coast through
Wednesday before moving inland Thursday, bringing PM showers and
thunderstorms chances for the mountains/upper foothills each day.
Elsewhere dry weather continues through the week and into early next
week. Cooler but still above normal temperatures are expected
today, trending down and becoming more seasonable mid-week before
warming again for the weekend.

     Sacramento Valley.

-Probability of high temperatures 80 degrees F or higher:
- Northern/Central Sacramento Valley:
          60 to 100%
- Delta, Southern Sacramento and Northern San Joaquin Valleys:
          10 to 40%

* Today - Saturday:

-Continued warm weather Today becomes seasonable through mid
     week, with an additional warming trend moving into the weekend.

-Isolated to scattered thunderstorm chances during the afternoon
     and evening Today through Thursday across the mountains and
     foothills.

-Today: 10-20%, highest along Sierra from Interstate 80
         southward

.AVIATION...
VFR conditions expected over the next 24 hours at TAF sites with
winds generally light and less than 12 kts. Except in and around
the Delta with westerly gusts 15 to 25 kts through 18Z Wednesday.
Additionally, there is a 10-20% chance of isolated mountain
thunderstorms this afternoon mainly over the Sierra (19Z-03Z
Wednesday).
